ABC asking for contributions to retired fighters charitable fund

The Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports (ABC) is once again asking for assistance in the implementation of its Retired Fighter Charitable Fund.
The ABC, which oversees athletic commissions in North America, gives out a monetary gift annually to a retired fighter or fighters going through hard times as a result of injuries sustained in the course of competition. This year, the gift will be awarded in July at the ABC’s annual conference in Orlando, Fla.
