Surgery will sideline Canes F Pacioretty 6 months

Star acquisition Max Pacioretty, 33, traded from the Vegas Golden Knights in June, will have surgery for a torn Achilles tendon and face a six-month recovery, the Carolina Hurricanes said Tuesday night.
