Minnesota hockey coach, philanthropist Larry Hendrickson has died at 75

Longtime hockey coach Larry Hendrickson, who led Richfield and Apple Valley to state finals and was the father of Wild assistant coach Darby Hendrickson, passed away Friday at the age of 75, according to family friend Kimberly Albert.
Hendrickson passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family after a battle with heart failure, she said.
The founder of the Hendrickson Foundation, which helped children with disabilities play hockey, Hendrickson led Richfield to the 1976 state title game,
