Hawks sign Hayden, Hinostroza to 2-year extensions

Chicago locks up two forwards. The Chicago Blackhawks signed forwards John Hayden and Vinnie Hinostroza to a two-year contract extension through the the 2019-2020 season, the team announced early Friday morning. Scott Powers of The Athletic originally reported the Hinostroza deal.
Hinostroza’s deal carries a $1.5 million annual salary cap hit, while Hayden’s half that at $750,000.
Both players were set to become restricted free agents July 1.
