Kyrie Irving undergoes successful left knee surgery

ORLANDO – Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving underwent successful surgery on Wednesday to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Riley J Williams MD, Chief of Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Irving suffered the injury late in the first quarter on March 3 at American Airlines Center against the Sacramento Kings. The Mavs said further medical updates regarding Irving’s status will be provided
