Danny Ainge appeared on the floor before the Celtics' win over the Jazz on Friday smiling and laughing with Jayson Tatum. Ainge's Utah Jazz fell to last place in the NBA earlier in the week, but he didn't seem to mind. He knew, expected even, that the Jazz would lose many games across multiple seasons while playing the long game following trades that sent Donovan Mitchell to Cleveland and Rudy Gobert to the Wolves upon his arrival as CEO of Utah.
