Rockwell Automation reports lower earnings, sales in third fiscal quarter

The Milwaukee-based industrial equipment and software maker said it had a profit of $191 million, or $1.46 per share, for its third fiscal quarter, down 7% from $206.1 million or $1.52 per share in the same period a year earlier.
