Harley-Davidson profit slips on weak U.S. motorcycle sales

Harley said it had net income of $280.4 million in the quarter that ended June 26, down 6.4% from $299.8 million in the same period a year earlier. Earnings per share increased to $1.55 from $1.44 a year ago.
