UC announces largest enrollment in nearly 50 years

The University of Charleston says this fall marks the school's largest enrollment in nearly 50 years.A total of 2,481 students are enrolled at the private university this fall, according to a news release. That includes an 11 percent increase in the freshmen class since 2010."It is gratifying to see increased interest in the University of Charleston at a time when there are economic challenges in WV and intense competition for students," said UC President Ed Welch in the release
