Stillaguamish Tribe fights state over Oso landslide liability

In a federal lawsuit, the Stillaguamish Tribe argues it should be protected from paying any settlements potentially leveled against the state over the landslide. The state says earlier work performed by the tribe on the hillside makes it partly liable.
