Coast Guard icebreaker ready to return to work after overhaul

The United States Coast Guard cutter Healy, the United States’ largest and most technologically advanced polar icebreaker, has just undergone a three-month overhaul at the Vigor shipyard on Harbor Island. Her primary mission is to support scientific research in the Arctic.
