Auburn rape case filed naming assailant’s DNA sample

Though police and prosecutors don’t know his name, a second-degree rape charge was filed this week against a DNA specimen identified as 07-3116 Peri-SF. The unknown assailant is accused of raping a woman in Auburn in 2007.
