Vermont delegation slams GOP tax proposal

WASHINGTON — As congressional Republicans rolled out a proposal to make substantial changes to the federal tax system Thursday, Vermont’s congressional delegation came out strongly against it.
The three Vermont congressmen slammed Republicans for producing the legislation behind closed doors, and ripped the proposal as one aimed at cutting taxes for the wealthiest people and companies in the country.
House Republican lead
