Town considers ousting absentee Selectboard members

BENNINGTON — The Bennington Charter Review Committee is considering a provision for removing Selectboard members who are repeatedly absent from board meetings.
At its meeting Wednesday, the panel also set dates for public hearings on the charter changes it is considering and added some longer meetings during the evening to increase the pace of the review.
