Soucy named to Rutland County Senate seat

Soucy, reached late Monday afternoon, confirmed his appointment by Gov. Phil Scott to fill the remaining term of former Rutland County state Sen. Kevin Mullin, R-Rutland. Mullin stepped down from the post after his appointment by the governor to head the Green Mountain Care Board.
