Justice Department threatens subpoena over ‘sanctuary’ documents

WASHINGTON — The Department of Justice is seeking more documents from the state of Vermont about policies the federal government believes may be in conflict with immigration laws.
If the state Department of Public Safety does not turn over the documents, the DOJ warned in [a letter last week] that it would subpoena the material.https://www.justice.gov/
