Firefighters battle blaze at historic UVM building

BURLINGTON – Firefighters responded to a large fire at the University of Vermont’s historic Torrey Hall shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday, according to Burlington Fire Chief Stephen Locke.
No one has been reported injured or missing. Locke told VTDigger at 10 a.m. that the fire was still active and not yet under control.
