Colchester, VT – Long time Colchester Rescue Chief Amy Akerlind is stepping down. Akerlind’s career with Colchester Rescue started in February 2001 when she became a volunteer. In April of 2005 she became the volunteer Rescue Chief, and went on to become the first paid Chief in October 2006.
