Zion reopens climbing routes after peregrine nesting season

ZION NATIONAL PARK — All climbing routes on cliffs used by nesting peregrine falcons have been reopened after closures were initiated March 1 to protect nesting areas.During the nesting period, wildlife biologists at the park monitored the birds’ activity and found five territories were occupied by pairs of adults.
