Utah Valley University trustees approves 3 new engineering degrees

OREM — The Utah Valley University board of trustees have approved three new engineering degrees.
The new Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are set to begin in fall 2018, pending approval of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
According to a statement from the university Thursday, the new degrees will serve the nearly 500 students currently enrolled in pre-engineering, as well as future students.
