Utah governor orders flags lowered to half-staff in honor of Barbara Bush

SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Gary Herbert has requested all flags at state facilities and public grounds be lowered to half-staff through Saturday to honor the life and service of former first lady Barbara Bush, who died Tuesday at 92.President Donald Trump has also issued a directive to lower flags to half-staff across the country.Individuals and businesses are encouraged to fly the flag at half-staff for the same length of time.
