Utah County, IHC providing 30 free prediabetes blood tests

PROVO — The Utah County Health Department and Intermountain Healthcare are partnering to raise awareness of prediabetes by offering free hemoglobin A1c blood tests to the first 30 qualifying individuals.The A1c blood test, which are $15 at the health department, determines if a person has prediabetes. IHC has made it possible for the first 30 qualifying people to receive the test for free. To qualify, individuals must be low-income and meet specific requirements on a prediabetes self-asses
