Tooele to take applications for dual language program starting Jan. 16

TOOELE — Applications for Tooele School District's dual language immersion program will be accepted online Tuesday, Jan. 16, through Friday, March 16.
The program, which ensures students will learn Utah Core Content and will become bilingual and biliterate in a second language and English, is open to all students entering first grade in the fall of 2018, except at Anna Smith Elementary, which begins its Spanish program in kindergarten.
