Three new solar arrays activated at U.’s Research Park

SALT LAKE CITY — Research Park at the University of Utah has activated several new solar arrays across three locations.
The installations at facilities at 729 Arapeen Drive, 383 Colorow Drive and 295 Chipeta Way include rooftop, parking canopy and ground configurations.
The arrays are a combined 1.9-megawatts in size and will offset the energy consumption of the three buildings by a combined 27 percent and contribute to the U.'s goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
