Thief tries blowing up two ATMs with propane tanks, police say

WEST JORDAN — Police were looking Monday for whoever tried to blow open a pair of ATM machines by using propane tanks.
Two incidents were reported on Sunday. The first happened about 5 a.m. at the Golden West Credit Union, 5639 W. Highlands Loop (7625 South). A propane tank was set up next to the ATM and then ignited, said West Jordan Police Sgt. JC Holt.
