Syracuse residents say hawks are terrorizing neighborhood

SYRACUSE — Barbara Packer jogs near the RC Willey store in Syracuse nearly every morning, something she has done for more than a decade.Two recent mornings, however, brought an unexpected guest."I just felt this swoop, right across my head," Packer explained Thursday. "I expected to see six birds, and then it was a hawk."The next morning, it happened again — this time, drawing a bit of blood."Suddenly, like in the same place, I felt this crash on my head," she said.She then said she
