S.R. 148 through Cedar Breaks closes for the winter

CEDAR BREAKS NATIONAL MONUMENT — State Route 148, the scenic road through Cedar Breaks National Monument, has closed to vehicle traffic for the winter.
Although the road is closed, visitors can still easily access the park via S.R. 143 and the town of Brian Head. That road, which connects Parowan to Panguitch, will remain open throughout the winter but could be closed temporarily due to heavy snowstorms.
