Shooting at West Valley park leaves boy critically injured

WEST VALLEY CITY — A 14-year-old boy was critically injured Thursday at a park when someone shot him in the face.The teen was a passenger in a car with three friends that stopped at Kings Point Park near 4000 South and 1500 West in West Valley City, according to police.A group approached them on foot, and police said words were exchanged and shots were fired at the car.A bullet went through the windshield and hit the 14-year-old passenger in the face, police said.The teen was taken by frie
