Sex offender charged with illegally visiting school

HEBER CITY — A registered sex offender who was arrested Tuesday after police say he was spotted walking through the hallways of an elementary school has been charged with multiple counts of being in restricted areas in two different cases.Bruce Chatwin, 42, of Heber City, was charged Thursday in 4th District Court with being a sex offender in a protected area, a class A misdemeanor, for Tuesday's incident. But he was also charged with four more counts of the same charge in a separate case.
