Search for suspect in Springville stabbing underway in Midvale

MIDVALE — Police were searching Sunday morning for a suspect in a stabbing in Springville.
Police there asked other law enforcement agencies to help locate the suspect, and the suspect's vehicle was found in the area of 8200 South and 245 West in Midvale, said Unified Police detective Chuck Malm.
Malm said the vehicle was unoccupied but still warm when police arrived, so authorities believe the suspect may still be in the area.
No other details about the stabbing or search were immediately
