Search crews looking for missing Vernal man near Chepeta Lake

DUCHESNE COUNTY — A search is underway near Chepeta Lake for a Vernal man reported missing by his family late Thursday, according to the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office.Joseph Weyerman, who is in his late 70s or early 80s, had been camping in the area for the last two weeks and was scheduled to return home Wednesday night. In a press release, Chief Deputy Travis Tucker said Weyerman was last heard from on Monday.Search crews were in the area looking for Weyerman on Friday with assistance
