Scouting for Food set for March 17

SALT LAKE CITY — Boy Scouts across the state will be collecting canned goods for the Utah Food Bank during the annual Scouting for Food drive on Saturday, March 17.Utah residents are asked to fill a bag with nonperishable food donations and leave it on their porch by 9 a.m. for collection.Looking to go green, the donors are urged to use any bag or box on hand.Most needed items include soup, chili, canned meats (tuna or chicken), peanut butter and boxed meals.
