School locks bill passes Utah Senate

Public schools could install bolt locks on classroom doors for use during lockdowns under a bill that passed the Senate last week. SB87, sponsored by Sen. Todd Weiler, R-Woods Cross, was approved 26-0 Friday and now goes to the House.
