Salt Lake sees 37 percent voter turnout, with boost from 3rd District race

Voter turnout reached an estimated 37 percent in Salt Lake County early Tuesday evening, a boost to the previous estimate of 28 percent. And Clerk Sherrie Swensen remained optimistic that the county would hit 40 percent before the night was done.
