Salt Lake lawmaker seeks $300k for opioid prevention curriculum for middle, high schools

A Salt Lake City lawmaker asked the Utah Legislature’s Public Education Appropriations Subcommittee for $300,000 Thursday to develop secondary school curriculum to address the state’s opioid abuse, addiction and overdose crisis.
