RSL player admits sexual conduct with minor

SALT LAKE CITY — A Real Salt Lake player accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl pleaded guilty to a reduced charge Monday.
Ricardo Velazco, 24, pleaded guilty to sexual battery, a class A misdemeanor, in 3rd District Court. He was originally charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a third-degree felony carrying a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.
The class A misdemeanor is punishable with a year in jail and a fine of up to $2,500. Sentencing is scheduled
