Road into S.L. airport to be diverted early Friday

SALT LAKE CITY — At 4 a.m. Friday, the road into the Salt Lake City International Airport will be diverted, with one lane splitting off to the left leading to the economy parking lot and the other lanes splitting off to the right leading to the parking garage, rental car return and terminals.
The shift is needed to begin infrastructure work on what will become an elevated roadway for the new airport, according to the Salt Lake City Department of Airports. The new roadway will lead to an up
