Resolution commends Jordan School District for natural gas school bus fleet

SALT LAKE CITY — A resolution commending the Jordan School District's fleet of natural gas-powered buses was advanced unanimously Friday by the House Transportation Committee.HCR15, sponsored by Rep. Cheryl Acton, R-West Jordan, recognizes that the district has the state's largest fleet of CNG school buses, with 75 of 260 buses fueled by natural gas and another 36 on order.Acton said the recognition is deserved by the district and may help "promote clean air policies to other fleet manager
