Record catch revoked after DWR learns Idaho man's license had expired

SODA SPRINGS, Idaho — A man's record-breaking catch is now being erased because of a simple oversight.Sidney Cellan, from Soda Springs, Idaho, caught a 57-pound fish at Flaming Gorge on June 15, but he didn't realize his license was expired."It was an honest mistake — and an incredible catch — but the angler’s fishing license had expired a couple of days before he caught the 48-inch lake trout," the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources said in a post on its Facebook page.
