Police: Woman shot in leg in S.L.

SALT LAKE CITY — A woman is in the hospital in serious but stable condition after she was shot in the leg Tuesday afternoon, police said.A suspect also was in custody.Officers were seen handcuffing a man and ejecting a round from a handgun about 4 p.m. near what they believed was the scene of the shooting at 757 W. 200 North. Officers did not release the name of the victim or the suspect Tuesday, and did not say what may have led to the violence.
