Police: Man spotted burglarizing home arrested following standoff

TAYLORSVILLE — A man suspected of burglarizing one home and barricading himself inside another has been arrested following a standoff with police.
The man broke into the home after police spotted him burglarizing another house in the area, Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke said. The home was empty at the time with the exception of a dog, which ended up in the backyard, he said.
