Police lose car thief following brief chase

WHITE CITY — Multiple police agencies were searching Tuesday for a man suspected of stealing two cars, attempting to steal a third, and leading officers on a brief chase.
The series of events began just before 9:30 a.m. when a woman was dropping off her child at a day care, 6120 S. 2075 East. When she came back out to her car, it was gone, said Unified Police Sgt. Jared Richardson.
