Police: Juvenile injured in West Valley shooting

WEST VALLEY CITY — A juvenile was transported to the hospital in stable condition after being shot Saturday evening, police said.West Valley City Police Lt. Amy Maurer said police were called around 7 p.m. to respond to a scene of what looked like a group of people arguing at 3980 S. 5600 West.When officers arrived, they found a juvenile male had been shot after a dark SUV pulled up alongside the group and fired on the vehicle containing the youth. Police did not have the age of the victim
