Police identify Vernal woman killed in head-on crash

VERNAL — Police have identified a Vernal woman who died in a head-on crash Monday evening.
Isabella Giese, 21, was was driving east on state Route 40 near 895 West when her vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane, hitting another vehicle head-on, according to Vernal Assistant Police Chief Keith Campbell.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while a man who was in the car with her was rushed to Ashley Regional Medical Center, then taken by medical helicopter to another hospital along t
