Police: Boy thrown from car in South Jordan crash

SOUTH JORDAN — A boy was thrown from a car when its driver turned left on a red light Thursday, crashing into an oncoming off-duty Unified police car, authorities said.Detectives believe the child was between 8 and 10 years old.
