Op-ed: Can Utah achieve top status in education excellence?

What should Utah aspire to in public education? Should we aim to be in the midrange of states in education excellence? Should we be satisfied if we’re in the bottom cluster of states? Or should we seek to be the nation’s No. 1 education state?Comparisons with other states are of no concern if we’re providing the kind of education that prepares our young people for the jobs of the future: jobs that can support a family in an era of advanced technology, globalism and the knowledg
