Officer hospitalized following scuffle with vandalism suspect

MILLCREEK — A Unified police officer suffered minor injuries Thursday when he was attacked by a man he was trying to arrest for vandalism.
An officer was called just after noon to Murray Smokeshop, 909 E. 4200 South, on a report of a man trying to break out one of the business' front pane windows by propelling his body into it, said Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.
