Nominees announced for 5th District Court vacancy

SALT LAKE CITYThe 5th District Judicial Nominating Commission has selected five nominees to fill a vacancy on the court, which covers Beaver, Iron and Washington counties.
The position was created by the Legislature during the 2017 session.
The nominees are Matthew Bell, assistant U.S. attorney; Jack Burns, an attorney with Burns Law Office; Washington County deputy attorneys Eric Gentry and Rachelle Shumway; and Jay Winward, an attorney with Winward Law PLLC.
