Monte Cristo, Big Mountain highways likely to close by mid-Novemeber

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Transportation announced it is evaluating road conditions daily on state Route 39, the Monte Cristo Highway, and S.R. 65, the Big Mountain Highway, and will likely close the roads by mid-November due to weather conditions.
Regardless, the roads will close, no matter the weather, by midnight on Thursday, Nov. 30.
