Missing Ogden woman found dead Saturday morning

SALT LAKE CITY — An endangered Ogden woman, reported missing Friday morning, was found dead Saturday morning in a residential neighborhood southeast of downtown.
Police believe Verna Marriott, 79, died from exposure.
Ogden Police Lt. Will Farr said a search effort that included police and volunteers was unable to locate Marriott, who suffered from dementia and diabetes. She reportedly wandered away from her home sometime between 2 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Friday without shoes.
